HVAC Installer
Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Installer with demonstrated experience in installing various HVAC equipment and systems. As an HVAC Installer, he/she will work with our mechanical projects team to complete commercial mechanical equipment replacement, retrofit and new construction projects. Typical projects include installation, replacements and retrofits of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping and other related materials and systems. They must be a self-starter with the motivation to work with and mentor other team members. The ideal candidate has the desire to use their advanced skills in a team oriented environment where the only limitation is their imagination!

Responsibilities
  • Retrofit and installation of commercial HVAC equipment including RTU, chillers and split systems.
  • Installation of other HVAC systems including duct, piping and electrical wiring.
  • Field fabrication of sheetmetal and fiberglass duct as required by the project.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time.
  • Operate company vehicle to complete projects within a specified territory.
  • Experience with high and low voltage wiring of commercial HVAC equipment.
Qualifications

Experience, Training, and/or Certifications:

  • 5 or more years of HVAC installations within a commercial or industrial setting.
  • EPA universal certification preferred.
  • Experience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water, VAV and fan coils.

  • Must be able to work independently and without supervision.
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout
    materials.
  • Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening.
  • Ability to pass a physical ability test.
